So Duncan, Oden/Durant and now Pierce and KG might retire with this kid coming out? We're due!  We can't afford not to tank

I feel like that number in practice would actually be higher.  The only teams that wouldn't start him right away would be teams that already have two star wings.  So basically the Heat.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I feel like any high playoff team wouldn't want to start him. Spurs, Thunder, Nuggets, Grizzlies, Heat, etc. would try to work him off the bench or something. Teams with coaches like Doc probably wouldn't give him the starting spot until he impresses the coaches and earns the spot.

Idk what I just said.

Yeah I keep hearing that he's the best prospect since LeBron... not only that, but I keep hearing that Jabari Parker could be the Melo of that draft.

It really does seem like 2014 would be tremendous year to tank.

I think Boston might have too much mediocre talent to be total bottom-feeders, but as a Seattle resident, I'm hopefully the Sonics can make it happen.

I reckon that would actually be fantastic. Guy could make the sport massive in the country.

Kinda like how i want Kyrie Irving to play for Australia in the olympics :P

A good top of the draft isn't necessarily a good middle of the draft.

But the more 2014 is perceived to be loaded, the more young guys may opt to come out this year--and beef up the pickings at #15.

true, but it also fairly deep, not as deep as 2013, but a fairly deep draft with 5-10 players that could be all star caliber players.

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
How many teams would pick Wiggins 1st overall this year regardless of whether he would start or not?

I say 30. Wiggins in this draft would be by far the best player w/ the best potential.
I like Marcus Smart
