I am starting this thread to discuss what your thoughts will be on our season next year. I will post my opinion after hear some of your opinions. I am very interested to hear what other Celtics fans thoughts.
Record?
Trades?
Signees?

-Thanks!

I don't think it's possible to answer this until we know if kg, pierce, and doc will be back.

But if I had to guess, kg, pierce, doc and a fairly well constructed team would probably be 40-50 wins and a 6th-8th seed again.

If they leave, with Rondo and Green and a fairly well constructed team I could see 35-40 wins, but maybe less its hard to know.

Very true. We are stuck in Limbo until we know what is going to happen to KG, Paul, and Doc. Assuming though, Doc returns, KG stays, and Pierce manages to stay, I think that we could be a 55 win team, going for 2-3 in the East.

I totally understand the desire to get started thinking about this stuff, but we might as well just use a random number generator right now.  There are way, way too many variables.

i agree with the above. i am glad this thread was started, but at the moment i dont think anyone here can provide meaningful or remotely accurate guesstimates as to the 13-14 season.

doc, pierce, KG, the draft, trades, these are all unknowns right now and each of them could affect the season win-loss record.

let's let this thread hibernate for a few months and then bump it in time for the pre-season games.  :D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
