He is from Brazil and is 7ft tall. I mentioned him in another thread but I really want some opinions on this guy. I think he could hit it off with Fab and become the Brazillian Towers lol

But really they say he is "untapped potential" but has good hands, can dunk, is an extremly good shot blocker, some offensive touch, and can knock down free throws.

So to me all that could equal Rondo's perfect Center....fast, tall, can dunk, can break away, and can block those who get by rondo on defense AND REBOUND! Him and Sully could be a force down low, and if Fab develops into anything......ahhhh could be legit.

They say his defense needs work and is kinda lazy at times which deters me a bit but put on that celtic green and u can become a changed man.

2 yrs from now.... starters Rondo, Bradley, Green, Sully, and Lucas.... bench williams, crawford, fab, white, need a really good shooter and backup to green...BUT i think that could be an interesting team

No interest. Only room for one raw project center.

He does sound very interesting though. I would have liked him if Fab Melo wasn't already here.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
Who beat me to it.

We already have a project big, if we're reloading for ONE FINAL STAND next year, we better be sure that we pick the readiest guy we can have in our position.

If we're going big, it's Olynyk or Whitey (since Len will be gone by then, but of course he's the clear choice). Olynyk for his offensive skill or Whitey for his defense. They have a certain skill set that would contribute for us already, those are the bigs we should be targeting.

thanks for input!
I understand only room for 1 project center but I really think this guy has a lot of potential unlike Fab, who may develop into like a 3rd string center. This guy could start one day, not all star but starter.

what about trading fab lol
