Um you probably can point to a number of other stat analyzers dude. Also, in what way is that not true? year after year he predicts the Celtics will be way worse than they actually end up being. Simple as that.

PER is a convenient "quick-and-dirty" look at players, and Hollinger himself has stipulated that it's not perfect (and its flaws are well known).

So your comment pretty much reinforces my impression that fans hate Hollinger not because his predictions are poor (he was on top of the ESPN pool of 30 experts for last season), but because he refuses to annoint the Celtics as the greatest thing since sliced bread.
