I am a fan of Scali as an analyst to groom as Tommy's eventual replacement. 


But if he has Head Coaching in him, I would be fine using him as an assistant. 


I always thought Scalabrine could be a coach in this league. That is the stepping stone to being a TV analyst and then a pointless pontificator (a la Bill Walton).

No offense to the original poster...I just haven't ever seen any skills from scal...except a few highlights from his NJ days....probably before he got 5 mill a year......from US.....
