I will not make any predictions about rookies starting or being major minutes guys. I doubt if Sullinger gets more than 10 mpg and Melo will be in the D league IMO.
I think that if Jeff Green doesnt get signed soon we could see a couple of things happen.
Collins starts beside KG. Bass coming off the bench with Wilcox in the second unit. KG slides to center initially and then Wilcox come in for him shortly after a couple minutes. This to provide offense.
Courtney Lee starting at the SG and sliding to SF with Jason Terry coming in at the SG. This leaves Rondo playing big minutes until Bradley is available. Then Lee becomes Bradley/Pierce's backup.
This scenario doesnt bode well for us. We are very athletic and should be pretty good against most second units. We get killed when facing the bigger SF's after Paul goes to the bench. Lebron, Anthony, Deng and the rest.
We need the length and defense Jeff Green gives us at the forward spots.
