per Stein:

"Marc Stein ‏@ESPNSteinLine
RT @Jonathan_Feigen: Rockets have come to agreement w/Carlos Delfino on one-year deal, with team option on second season, per source"

too bad, would have been nice to add him to our team

Good signing for Houston. They needed another three man to go with Chandler Parsons.

PG: Jeremy Lin, Shaun Livingston, Toney Douglas
SG: Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb, Gary Forbes
SF: Chandler Parsons, Carlos Delfino
PF: Patrick Patterson, Royce White, Terrence Jones, Marcus Morris
C:  Omer Asik, Donatus Motiejunas

Will the Celtics re-sign Pietrus then or look into signing one of these three: Barbosa, Nocioni, Wafer (if they accept vet's minimum, I suppose).

I'd rather have Quisy back than Wafer. Nocioni couldn't crack the rotation in Philly. Barbosa is not what this team needs.

Peaches should be option #1 for the last spot, Quisy should be #2.

Nocioni looked much better in the Olympics. In fact, his former coach (Doug Collins) commented on how good his legs looked.

OK fine. It'll have to be a wait and see kind of scenario. He's 33 in late November and hasn't been himself since 2009. I still want Peaches and Quisy over him. Not a bad plan C though.

Thank god...finally I can stop hearing about it.

No idea why anyone wanted him to begin with.  We are already stacked at SG and SF and the last thing we need is another relatively unproductive SG that shoots 40% from the field.

How about we focus on the position we actually need now - center!

I don't care what anyone says, you can never have too many big bodies.  Injuries happen, and when youre going up against guys like Bynum, Gasol and Howard so do fouls.  Each big man brings another body and another 6 fouls, and we need both.

Couldn't get Howard. Delfino isn't a bad second option..... Man that rockets team looks pretty bad.

Personally, I would ask KMart if he wants to play for a championship team for the vet minimum.

I'll be interested to see how much the deal is worth -- I wonder if we actually couldn't afford him, or if Doc was just being nice.

Pietrus is not coming here, apparently. And frankly, I'm prepared to move on. Daniels is ready for the proverbial fork.

Royce White  6-8  270
Patrick Patterson   6-9  235
Marcus Morris   6-9  235
Terrence Jones   6-9   252

Jujuan Johnson   6-10   221

They have 4 legit PF young guys, plus JJJ if he somehow makes the team.  They have 21 guys listed on their roster right now plus 2 free agents.

Obviously some of those guys arent guarenteed and they are just signed for camp, but i would imagine they could take a couple of those PFs and turn them into one pretty good wing player to go with Lamb, Martin, and Parsons.  That or a 6-3 combo guard that can score off the bench.

With Igoudala coming to Denver, what about a trade of Patrick Patterson and Marcus Morris (plus Courtney Fortson for filler) for Wilson Chandler?
