The All Star game is a popularity contest. Even though I think he deserves it, his perceived cockiness would turn alot of fans off

Unless I'm mistaken, Rondo has been in the top 10 for Jersey sales each of the last 3 seasons.  He is a very popular player.

I believe in Rondo and I can only hope that its true that this off seasons shenanigans, ie, the DuWhite deal; the Nash deal; the presence of Paul, Westbrook and Williams on the winning olympic team; and of course the situation with Ray Allen, will drive Rajon to improve another couple notches and make him consistently unstoppable.  As Celtics fans, we need him to do it if we are to have a great chance at the title

I think Rondo will definitely start this year. People forget that even though D-Rose gets the starting job, Rondo wasn't that far behind in votes. I think he actually led Rose in votes 2 years ago for awhile. D-Will is like Pierce, no matter how good he plays, he's just not a player fans vote for.
