I can't claim to know the Princeton Offense too well but since it calls for a lot of the action to be initiated from the high post, I can't imagine Nash is going to enjoy the same amount of touches he's used to. He's more than versatile enough offensively to fit into any offensive system but why would they institute a system that doesn't feature Nash's strength? Personally I'm happy for their move. Great job getting a point guard whose teams have finished top 10 in offense nearly every season of his career and then switching to a non-point guard dominant system.
Watching Kobe in the Olympics, it doesn't matter who his teammates are, he's going to take difficult shots. He loves the long fadeaways, the triple pumpfakes, the three-pointers after staring down his man from aeons. That's part of who he is and even though Nash will get his more open spot up looks, I have no doubt Kobe will still act like Kobe and take ridiculously tough shots that he'll miss more than make.
I think Kobe's slowed down. He doesn't look explosive or quick at all. If he tries to do all the high degree of difficulty stuff, he's going to really struggle next season.
