im surprised some of you guys think 45-50wins is all we'll get

C's got 50 in 10-11 and 55 in 11-12 when both those teams faded down the stretch due to resting/injuries etc.

health permitting(and with younger less injury prone guys its a distinct possibility)...I think this team should at the very least get 50wins...

the bulls/Spurs have shown that if you have a strong bench you can win ALOT of regular season games..

eihter way, the only goal should be to get to the playoffs healthy...if you can get home court throught the playoffs it would be great, but we can win on the road.

65-17

Not as good as the 08 team.
Not nearly as good as the 08 team and the Conference is much better than it was in 08.  Team won't even get close to 60 wins.  It certainly may do more than the 48 I said, but I would be totally stunned if Boston wins more than 55 games.  Like fall out of my chair shocked.

If they play as well as they did the second half of last season they'd win more than 55 games. I don't know why that's such a shocking thought.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
If there are no major injuries to Pierce, KG, Rondo or Green then we should be somewhere between 55-60. We are a very deep team and we'll be crushing teams defensively.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
