I really hope they wouldn't have to take Sacramento's team to get their own.  I'd love basketball back in Seattle as a proper Sonics team but I'd really feel for Sac.

Me too. Sacto fans are devoted, it would kill them (as it did Sonics fans when they left.)

I live in Seattle.  I'd love to have the Sonics back here.  I miss going to the annual Boston game.

If it ended up being the Kings I'd feel a little bad for them.  They have had that team since 85 (after playing in Kansas City, Rochester and Cincinnati).  I'd strongly prefer to take a team like Memphis... They have only been there since 2001, have almost no history and they stole that team from the NW (Vancouver) anyways.  From what I understand, that Memphis arena contract is very difficult to break, though.

Would rather see Seattle get Memphis, New Orleans or Charlotte.

I would rather the Sonics just get a whole new team with their history and records intact.

As far as what would be the most exciting for the fans... probably New Orleans.  Bright future there... and people would instantly love the brow.
