Yes I was just reading the post about who should get big minutes at the two.

But that's obvious, Avery Bradley, the young guard that for all intents and purposes robbed Ray Allen of his starting job, will have ample time playing shooting guard, and he will start. With the flexibility granted by the 12/13 season Celtics roster, AB will probably play 0 minutes at the point (given Rondo/Terry/Dooling - we are deep there).

However - I can see Lee or Terry finishing the game at the two over Avery Bradley - namely Terry. Terry has shown to be clutch in pivotal situations and he LOVES shooting the three ball.

Does Terry finish the game as a shooting guard or does Doc already have a plan up his sleeve? Is it too early to tell? Based on the caliber of players we currently have that will be rotating between the 1 and 2, I think we can predict it now. Terry's got my vote

we'll play multiple 2's and play small ball. avery and lee at the same time is not far fetched.

it depends on matchups. we can take avery out and bring in green or bass at the 4

Would it be shocking to see Terry AND Avery finish some games, given Rondo's shooting deficiency?  I am betting this happens more than many would think.

My guess is that Doc will go with Terry on offensive sets to end the game and Avery when he needs a defensive stop.

Terry, no doubt. This guy is as clutch as they come.

On offense: Terry no doubt
On defense: Bradley or Lee (depends on the match up)
But this line-up will finish our games : Rondo-Terry-Pierce-Green-KG aka our 5 best players !

I'm hoping it is like 2008 and we get to see our 8-12 finishing a lot of games.

But for the close games, I don't think there is going to be a set lineup. It should depend on the matchups, who is hot, are we protecting a lead or trying to take one, etc.

We know Rondo, Pierce, and KG will definitely be out there. Green would be my next guess. The 5th player could be a bunch of guys, which to me is a great problem to have.

Answer is simple. If the opposing 2 guard can get buckets, then Avery Bradley. If the Celtics need buckets, then Jason Terry.

Question is how many 2's are we going to put in the game. Some of our best players are at the 2.

AB, Jet and Lee are all somewhat multi-dimensional threats.

CLee at the 4? Maybe? It's really hard to deal with 4, not just shooters, but cutters and some of them decent passers.

i would have to agree. that lineup has a lot of options that gives doc something to work with and in a broken play situation all those guys can make something happen

Ummm Mr Fourth Quarter

Yeah this to me is a no brainer. Terry is a great clutch performer and has hit some big shots for the mavs at the end of games throughout his career. I go with terry.

If our best statistical five man line up at the end of the year is not inclusive of Avery Bradley I would be very surprised.
