Just waived by Houston. Any interest? I wonder if he can play a little 5 in today's NBA. If so, on the 2nd unit, he could be a nice compliment to Sullinger.

I'd love to get Leuer. He's long, young, and can shoot. He plays with a lot of energy too.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Doesn't rebound, not much better defender. We already have a guy a lot like him in Bass.

I'ma thinkin pass.

wonder if he'll make it through waivers, considering his low salary. can the Cs claim him, considering his deal is worth less than the vet min?

While I do see your point about Bass, one guy can shoot the 3-ball and one can't. Regardless, don't see them sharing the floor much anyway -- i think Leuer would be an end-of-bench situational guy. And the quality of big we're going to get for vet min money isn't going to be much higher than Leuer.

Leuer can shoot the 3? He took 9 attempts all last season.

Given the choice between him and JJJ at the end of the bench, I'd take Leuer.
