there are certain contracts that are not enforceable unless they are in writing. I believe this would be one of them, but I agree with you this is a done deal. Lets move on.

Obviously he won't change his mind, but if he did, is anyone else down with Danny lowering his offer to maybe 2 years $9M or so?

If Ray Allen changes his mind, any deal that would attract him to stay would be a 3 year deal in my opinion.

Ethically, no.  Technically, I don't know.  Personally, I don't want him back (unless, of course, it comes out that this is all a big lie put out by the Miami Heat organization and Ray comes out and adamantly refuses that he ever agreed to a deal.  And, that wasn't even him in that picture with Riley, Mourning, Spoelstra and Chris Herren's illegitimate son.  That whole thing was doctored and fabricated.  If that's the case, then, come on back, Ray.)

Veteran minimum.  Maybe the BAE . . . after we talk to Pietrus and Dooling, of course, and find out what their plans are.

Is this post for real?
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine

So basically he needs to stay away from carriers of that, Dwight Howard for instance.

He's allowed to do it.  Hedo Turkuglu did a couple of years ago.

I don't think he will, though.
