I don't see why a S&T isn't possible?

The 76ers are not loaded at the 4. LaVoy Allen is not a starter, they only played him as a starter in our series because KG was thrashing them. Moutrie is a rookie and I can't see a playoff team playing him as a starter. The 76ers might amnesty Brand, so they obviously don't see him as their future 4.

Brandon Bass would give the 76ers a good, young PF who can shoot, spread the floor and go big to the basket.

I still feel like this is a doable win-win for both teams.

Why would Philly want to do that?  Hawes is an absolutely bargain with that contract.  They are probably doing a jig in the front office right now.  There is no chance they give that away.

I am sure Philly would be interested in Bass...but not at the expense of Hawes.

Nikola Vucevic already has the potential to be way better than Hawes, make room for his growth.

What if Celtics Offered S&T of Bass and Melo for Hawes? think that gets it done? Is it worth it for the C's to finally get a young starting C?
