I think, like the above poster, I'd put Bradley below George and Favors. But definitely above the others. Somewhere around 7 seems right to me.

  • Ashy To Classy, baby.
For my top ten, I'd go with:

1. John Wall
2. Demarcus Cousins
3. Greg Monroe
4. Evan Turner
5. Paul George
6. Avery Bradley
7. Derrick Favors
8. Gordan Hayward
9. Ekpe Udoh
10. Ed Davis/ Eric Bledsoe

For now... The talent hasn't been tapped. I do not like John Wall, he's not living up to his potential; this year hopefully will tell me otherwise.
My pic is now, and will be Fab Melo until he posts his first official NBA dbl-dbl. This may be permanent.

Bradley vs. Gordon Hayward is an interesting debate.  Like Bradley, Hayward looked really good toward the latter part of the year (16/4/4 on 51% FG%, 49% 3PT% in April).

Yeah, I gave the edge to defense there. You could also argue Favors, but I'd give the edge to the big man. I think George is ahead of Avery at this point. Somewhere between 6-8 is probably his range, although I guess you could argue for him over George. Fine, 5-8. Definitely top 10.

if someone could paste the first 18 picks i think you could see that a redo of the draft would make bradley a top 10 pick.

1. John Wall
2. Evan Turner
3. Derrick Favors
4. Wesley Johnson
5. DeMarcus Cousins
6. Ekpe Udoh
7. Greg Monroe
8. Al-Farouq Aminu
9. Gordon Hayward
10. Paul George
11. Cole Aldrich
12. Xavier Henry
13. Ed Davis
14. Patrick Patterson
15. Larry Sanders
16. Luke Babbitt
17. Kevin Seraphin
18. Eric Bledsoe
19. Avery Bradley

Top ten is probable.

I think top 10 is possible given that list at the moment.  I have posted the Minutes-per-Game and the PER of the Top 10 from last season below:

1. John Wall                (36.2 mpg, 17.7 PER)
2. Evan Turner             (26.4 mpg, 12.6 PER)
3. Derrick Favors          (21.2 mpg, 17.1 PER)
4. Wesley Johnson       (22.6 mpg, 8.0 PER)
5. DeMarcus Cousins    (30.5 mpg, 21.7 PER)
6. Ekpe Udoh               (26.4 mpg, 12.6 PER)
7. Greg Monroe            (20.1 mpg, 14.3 PER)
8. Al-Farouq Aminu      (22.4 mpg, 10.6 PER)
9. Gordon Hayward       (30.5 mpg, 15.5 PER)
10. Paul George           (29.7 mpg, 16.5 PER)

ABsolute Zero by comparison was 21.4 mpg and 11.3 PER.  If you are inclined to discount the PER because of his defensive specialty, it compares very favorably to the bottom half of the Top 10.

1.   DeMarcus Cousins
2.   John Wall
3.   Greg Monroe
4.   Derrick Favors
5.   Paul George
6.   Avery Bradley - His Defense puts him here for me
7.   Evan Turner
8.   Gordon Hayward
9.   Kevin Seraphin.
10. Eric Bledsoe

Turner and Hayward would absolutely be ahead of Bradley.  I'd also probably have Landry Fields and Jordan Crawford ahead of him.  Bledsoe is a toss up for me.

Bradley has now been injured in both of his seasons in the league, he is undersized, and has a limited skill set.  He looks like a + defender though, but his size will keep him from truly being elite unless he learns how to effectively play the point.

Also a few of those guys dominated the ball on their teams resulting in a higher PER. As long as the big 3 and rondo are still here, AB's PER will be above average (not saying its bad), so its not always the best comparison stat. However, I'm still overjoyed he is enjoying the success of an up and coming nba player and wish him luck in his 3rd season.

PS - Does anyone know his return date? They're saying December, but with this surgery will he be 100% AB come Dec. 1 or just cleared to step on a court and play sometime then? Thanks
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Hayward is a good defender. Maybe not on Bradley's level, but surprisingly good.

I think I'd still take Bradley but it is a close call.
