White and Sullinger...I think this would be a great draft for the celtics.  Two big bodies who are ready to go.  I know people are scared of sullinger but if his back holds out, I see him as an elton brand (not athletic but knows how to play) type which is not that bad.  Could you imagine those two bruisers playing together with Royce playing the point forward.  I like it.

21. Royce White
Analysis: I think White is a good fit in Boston. As long as coach Doc Rivers can buy into what White is (a ball handling power forward) and figure out how to play him, he could be a steal at this point in the draft.

Trade Scenarios: It's Danny Ainge. He's talking to everyone. But I think the most likely scenario has them standing pat here.

Celtics' Big Board:
1. Royce White
2. Jared Sullinger
3. Andrew Nicholson
4. Quincy Miller
5. Draymond Green

22. Jared Sullinger
Analysis: I'm not sure when the bleeding will end for Sullinger, whose stock is falling now that concerns about his back have every GM in the league a bit skittish.

But since the Celtics have two picks, they can afford to take the risk here. It will be a good one. Sullinger can play and he may be the best low-post scorer in the game.

Trade Scenarios: See No. 21.

Celtics' Big Board:
See No. 21.

51. Justin Hamilton

The big guy out of LSU didn't put up huge numbers, but he's had tremendous workouts. The Celtics need size wherever they can get it.

I'm with you, I'd like those two.
Although I'd be ecstatic with White+Jones if it were possible.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Boston will look back and regret not picking John Jenkins with at least one of those picks
Picking two PFs makes no sense
This team lacks scoring and there's no guarantee how well Bradley will be offensively when the Big 3 aren't there taking pressure off him from the defense
Can't stop, Rondo!

There are going to be a lot of good players to come out of this draft.  We are going to pass on some good players, but hopefully we pick the best one, two or more depending on how many picks we wind up with.

Can't help but feel like Doron Lamb is gonna be a good pro. He would fit in with this group so well it's scary. A Rondo/AB/Lamb combo would be deadly for the next half-dozen years or so. Each player complements the other two. Lamb can handle and facilitate as he showed last year. Flat out winner. Smart player, stays within himself. Plays solid if not spectacular defense. A shotmaker. We could do worse than find a guy like this who can absolutely fill a role on this team for a long time.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity...

I don't see us drafting 3 big guys in the draft unless one of them is a foreigner and we keep him over there for a while..

Not a fan of Royce White and certainly wouldn't mind seeing him go early to someone else.  I just think his game isn't going to translate well to the NBA.  He looks awfully slow in the paint to me to be effective at the NBA level.

If Sullinger is sitting there at 21/22, I'm done for it.  Total risk/reward but I think its a good value and risk to take there.

Agreed, I am going to watch the first half of the draft holding my breath while waiting for someone to take White and Rivers. I pray they are both gone so the C's can draft someone else.
