On a side note, I can't believe that the Charlotte/Cleveland trade didn't happen. It was about perfect for both teams. #2 and #31 for the #4, #24, and #34. Cleveland got the guy they desperately  wanted in Beal and had less rookies like they suppossedly wanted. Charlotte needed this trade. At 4, MKG could have still been around. They knew the Cavs were getting Beal, if Washington went with their hometown boy, Robinson, then the Bobcats were getting the guy they wanted anyways, They need help at every position so it should really matter who they got in the top 5. Not to mention they get the another big asset in the 24. I don't know if was actually proposed but the analysts were talking about it and it makes sense for both sides.

bernard james is garbage. i watched a lot of  fsu games, i can confirm this.

That's an objectionable and disrespectful word choice in describing a US military veteran who served tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I agree. Really surprised the Cats didn't trade the #2 for the #4 and #24, assuming the offer was there. Perhaps they believed Washington would have taken MKG at #3.

Imagine if that deal had gone down, how completely different the draft would have unfolded. Beal goes at #2, Washington perhaps takes Robinson, Sacto takes Drummond (perhaps trading him to Houston?), Waiters is there for Toronto at #8 . . . the lottery unfolds fundamentally differently.
