Longtime reader here, first time poster. I came across this video of Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless tonight about five minutes ago and just HAD to post it because I enjoyed it so much. I am aware that Stephen A. is not the most popular with a lot of the board, but I personally enjoy watching his rants when he gets like this. I wish he’d talk like the Celtics about this more, lol…

Notable  points from the video:

--Stephen A is recognizing that the Celtics play like a real team! OMG! Recognition at last! Thank you ESPN!

--Stephen A thinks that Miami’s Big Three is done if they lose the series! And that one or more of them might be traded! (God I hope this comes to pass… If it does I might frame the sports pages of the Globe when it happens and I see the blockbuster trade going down, nothing would give me greater pleasure to be able to say that my team caused another team to try to emulate them just to keep up and FAILED, MISERABLY, two times out of three, and succeeded only because our starting point guard was playing with 1 arm)

--Stephen A thinks that celebrating prematurely is stupid!

--Stephen A recognizes that we outplayed them for 4 out of 5 games! It’s not just us, the fans of the team, who think this!

Bayless makes me eyeroll as usual, I think he’s terrible. I’m glad that SAS is seeing that we deserve respect though. It makes me happy to see that at least someone at ESPN is taking our side at this point after all the fawning over Miami that they’ve done lately.

I think that SAS was aggressively apologetic to avoid being an easy target for Skip Bayless, which disappoints me, because I enjoy it when Skip puts SAS in his place.
