Great post and TP. I wrote a similar post about how this team sometimes fails to "seize the moment" and step on teams when they're down.
I thought Game 4 against Philly was a moment like that - cahnce to go up 3-1, with an 18 point 3rd quarter lead and heading home for game 5 to close.
Also thought Game 2 against Miami was a similar situation.
Bottom line I just agree with your post 100%.
The Celtics have written their ticket for the finals - that is - a 3-2 lead heading home for game 6. But it's up to them to "punch" that ticket and enter the finals.
They have to come out focused, hungry and with the type of anger / aggression as if the Heat collectively shot their new puppies.
The thing that worries me is a close game because with Wade, LeBron and even Chalmers - who I think is a pretty clutch player - if we let Miami stick around, they can steal this game and then all best are off in game seven in Miami.
Personally it would be difficult to stomach the smug faces of Wade and LeBron sending Boston packing in a game seven in Miami.
The Celtics need to come in with a game seven "of the Finals" mentality for this game.
All in for 48, make it ugly and step on Miami if we get them down.
For me, if they win this game and get to the finals, these guys are officially "champions" to me already - what ever happens in the finals is gravy to me, either way.
