Not Liking the ESPN Guys Writing the Heat Off

Honestly though Legler says hes picking the celtics in game 6 because he sees no real reason to pick the heat... I like him, he's one of the few espn guys that understands the benefits of heart and mental toughness over athleticism and flashy plays. Usually Legler is correct as well when he picks a team, he said in the last few mins if the celtics are within 3-4 pts they'll win the game and he was right. Unlike most "experts" he's smart, so I'll take his word on this one. It wont be an easy game but I see our team pulling this one off at home

It seems as though role players appreciate the game more...Therefore make better analysts.  earvin just blurts the obvious out after somebody else says it first.  earvin had a rare coherent thought of his own last night when he mentioned getting Byron Scott involved against the C's.

I watched Legler play in Omaha.  He was the Racer's (NBDL before the NBDL) best player but was focused like a laser beam.  Just that he seemed to always be in the right place tells me he knows the game.  So it's not surprising that he's a great analyst.  Legler doesn't make predictions (ala steven i smith or Broussard) based on binkys or emotions...He bases his thoughts on specifics.  He's smart because he studys the game and the teams.  He's simply the best prepared analyst ESPN has.

National media types are frontrunners and for good reason: They don't want to be embarrassed by picking the wrong team.  They need to be enthusiastic about the winner, whoever it is.  Chumps.

This group(our guys) HAS had trouble getting that 4th win. But TONS of trouble on the road and minimal at home. Indeed I don't think weve lost a home game that was an opportunity to win the 4th game as long as KG has been on the floor. Im worried too but our guys should have a little edge. They won't be overconfident. Its all we can do is hope the refs are fair and our guys come out  steady and strong.

2010 ECF Game 4 against Orlando when up 3-0. Ironically losing this game cost us the championship because we had to play two extra games and we did have the strength to beat LA in the next round.

I don't believe that Garnett was available to play in 2009 when we lost to Orlando in Game Seven on our HC.

I just hope that Miami's abyssmal track record in Boston continues tomorrow.
