Just heard on ESPN Radio that the Celtics with the Big 4 are 8-0 in game fives when the series is tied at 2-2.

that doesn't matter, in 2010 NBA finals, we were tied, and won game 5 to take the series lead, and then lost the last two...

Though a win is a win, and the format is different in the playoffs compare to the finals (2-3-2 vs 2-2-1-1-1). So winning game 5, coming back to Boston for game 6 is an advantage!

So, Go Celtics!

The question is -- how many of those were on the road?

And how many of those were being down 2-0 after the first 2 games(the other stat is the team that is up 2-0 wins the series 94% of the time)? Answer: Never. The Celtics have always been up 2-0 up or tied 1-1 after the first 2 games.

How many times have the Celtics won 3 in a row in the playoffs? Miami in the first round in 2010, Orlando in the second round in 2010, and New York in the first round in 2011. I'm not sure that that's even remotely related to the current situation, but it is different this time around as the Celtics have come back from being down 2-0 and will have to win 3 in a row to win game 5.
