A bit of a stretch perhaps, but I like the trend of energy Pietrus & Dooling are bringing to their roles.  Clearly House and Posey brought more to the table offensively.  I think the playoffs have offered the longest stretch for Pietrus and Dooling to actually play in the roles they were brought here for at the same time.  They definitely have been difference makers off the bench this series.  It's nice to see from the bench, and it does remind me a bit of the `08 bench (wish we had a PJ Brown or even a Big Baby to bang around a bit off the bench though)...
Yup

Posey was literally 100 times the player Pietrus is.. Not to mention that Pietrus has been extra bad during this series..

Yeah, he had a couple big rebounds and some solid defense. Fine.. But don't compare him to Posey. It's not close.

Dooling vs House is closer, but I still get the advantage to House, but not by much.. As funny as it sounds, Eddie probably more consistent.

Luckily, Rondo is playing at a superstar level.. That is why we are where we are, compared to last year. No, our big 3 aren't as good as they were in 2008.. No, our bench isn't either.. But we have the NBAs best PG now, which is a big boost.

Pietrus should be a James Posey type but has been trending downward ever since being injured the second half of the season.

Dooling is absolutely Eddie House at the moment. Just plays with completely infectious energy, gets his teammates and crowd into and has been knocking down that 3. Obviously not as much as a offensive force as Eddie but better defensively and seems to be a better leader (probably similar to Posey in that respect)

Yeh, I admitted it was a stretch.  I just like that they seem be developing similar roles at the most important time of the year.

Posey >>>> Pietrus
Dooling > House

Posey was so much better than Pietrus. Better shooter, could defend power forwards, a way smarter defender. Pietrus is more athletic though

Dooling gets the advantage over House. The only thing House can do was shoot. He shot the ball very well though. Dooling can take you off the dribble, plays better defense, can play the two guard also

Dooling and Pietrus has to play way more consistently to be compared to Posey and House

I really enjoy the energy that these 2 players play with. Thats their most similar trait to Posey and House.
