Well, I said I'm probably being too hard on Pierce and also said I've always struggled with his on court presence. That's just me, some players do it for you, some don't.
Pierce, most of the time, is "on" to me. But there are other times where he doesn't seem like he's in the middle of the fist fight, 100% engaged and throwing hay makers. I never feel that way with KG, or Ray for that matter. Not with Bradley.
I occasionally feel that way with Rondo but less and less this year particularly - I think his effort is more consistent.
But I've felt this way with Pierce the entire time he's been a Celtic. It doesn't mean I don't respect his game, appreciate his toughness. He just doesn't seem fully engaged at certain points.
I'd really like to see him going hard on the boards, helping KG out. He's our best rebounder next to KG.
