I can't really see Ainge moving up into late lottery to get a rotation player instead of taking two somewhat projects at 21 and 22. Especially with him working out Harrison Barnes, I think it's safe to say he is trying to move up to top 7, or stay put. The only pick very available is No. 6 with Portland. Their main target in the draft will still be there at No. 11 (Kendall Marshall) and having No. 11, 21, and 22 would be a lot more attractive to them than 6 and 11. However, just those two picks won't get to No. 6. So don't be surprised to find out Avery Bradley gets traded after the playoffs end (hopefully not soon). He has a very trade-able contract and Portland would end up with three rotation quality players out of getting rid of No. 6.

PP is going nowhere unless its for a top 5 pick

Bradley and a pick I might give up for a top 10 pick depending on who was left on the board .

I think getting pick 6 would be an awesome haul for Bradley, even if we had to throw in a pick or 2. IMO, there are 6 guys who are top talents (Davis, MKG, Beal, Robinson, Drummond, Barnes) after that it gets a little shaky from 7-13. So anything after 6, it would just be better to keep AB and let him fully blossom.

the grass is always greener on the other side, NOT!

edit: On serious note, draft is a crapshoot. Too big of risk to partake trading a key player for 'potential'.

They were already prepared to move Pierce midseason for the #6 pick--I'd be surprised if they got such a good opportunity to move him again.

And I'd put 21yo Bradley in as a top-5 pick for this year's draft himself--no reason to try to trade him for something equivalent but less known to them.
