Pietrus is prolly our 2nd best wing defender behind bradley. I don't think he played to his abilities last game.

I wouldn't mind dooling or pavs on wade either

Any one of those are going to be better than Ray in this situation, but we dont know for sure since Wade can get by them the same way he gets by Allen

Bradley was probably the only one who could cover him and possibly slow him down.

Rondo is going to have to play like he did in 2010 for us to have a shot.

It's going to be really tough to beat the heat, especially because we'll have to contend with the other 3 heat players holding whistles.

Can we do it? Yes. Will we? I'm not getting my hopes up.

I do think that Rondo can play like he did in 2010 against the Cavs.  He's been playing that way all playoffs up until his one bad game the other night.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

The key is we need agressive rondo on tje offensive end. There's no one on that team who can stop him. He destroyed them in the 2 regular season games.

And if u wanna stick lebron or wade on him that creates mismatches for pierce

I think rondo wants revenge

kind of funny, listening to Felger and Mazz they are pretty positive on the c's chances in game 7 as well as a possible matchup against the Heat..ironically right now they are probably the most positive media members in boston on the c's chances.

but they make a good point...the c's have an advantage with Garnett/Rondo

Could not disagree more strongly with your last sentence. Rondo has been disengaged frequently in these playoffs, including the idiocy of the ejection and two complete mail-ins - game 4 and Wednesday night - in this series.

who's gonna cover Wade ?
Ray Allen is an invalid
and Bradley is out.

Celtics are going to have to score 95+
each game - which does not happen consistently.

Who's gonna cover KG?
Joel Anthony is a stiff
and Bosh is out.

See what I did there?

I love haiku! Let me try one:

Thunder shakes the earth
winds swirl round as lightning strikes
Garnett in pregame

Or, how about this?

Cherry blossoms drift
free and easy in the breeze
of Ray Allen's shot

This is a Paul Pierce kind of game.  He seems to relish these kind of games and in most cases steps up.  An extra day off should help his ailing knee.

 I think he'll go for 30+ in game 7

The next round?  I don't know what to expect.  Everybody is riding high on Miami at the moment but only a little over a week ago people were asking, "whats wrong with Miami".  Maybe they got it together.  Maybe Indiana fell apart.

The Celtics will have a tough time without Bradley and with a so severely limited Ray Allen.  Rondo will need to have a series like he did in round one vs. Chicago a couple years ago and completely dominate for the C's to have a shot.  I don't know that he can do that playing with a team that really has little ability to get into the open court with any consistency.

And he did finish...

who's gonna cover Wade ?

Pietrus is more than capable of covering Wade.

You must be on some good drugs.

I still believe,if we went by half the people in heres opinion,we would be sad. These guys have more toughness and the will to win will push them through the injuries. We got a bunch of hard playing, dedicated Celtics that ive enjoyed watching over the last 4 years. Thanks for the positive post.#18 is only 9 wins away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
