Just a few questions/concerns/rants: Its long, but I know many are thinking the same.

Why was Quis was in the game with 4min left in the 4th quarter, when he had only played a previous total of 7 min in the series? I was a supporter of Doc rotations in previous threads but now I think he is out of his mind.

Hollins is such a headache, I do not understand why he is ahead of Stiemsma. At times I can understand why he is playing but 70% of the time he just looks lost and at any given moment he is going to fall over, tripping on his own feet, the guy is clumsy. I cringe when he has the ball in his hands in fear of a turn over. Why was Pierce even thinking about passing the ball to RYAN HOLLINS in the post, its Ryan Hollins Paul. Id rather see a Paul Pierce miracle shot while triple teamed. Stiemboat does not seem bothered by the foot, Doc should have stayed with the original big rotation. Almost all if not all of Hollins minutes should go to Stiemsma.

Last, my Ray Allen rant. Hes hurt, hes a liability on D, everyone knows. I understand the man is playing through the pain and there is a level of respect and loyalty involved but Doc needs to take a look in the mirror and ask himself, is this guy truly a greater asset to my team when he is on the floor, given the liability on D, than Pietrus/Pavs/Quisy. Id rather see them get the burn honestly. But he is still ray allen and can shoot lights out on a given night, so I am confused on where he should be in my fictional rotation, so I can not imagine where Doc stands.

Doc Rivers is losing my faith, not all of it, but hes making my hair fall out. Rondo too is making my hair fall out, and if it wasnt for duct tape, id send him a bill for the remote  ;D. Really wish the team would play with urgency and without a sense of entitlement. But I know deep down they are hungry.

All aside, I think the team will win game 7 and thats as far as ill go.

Avery, please find a genie to grant 3 wishes: new left shoulder, new right shoulder, and a spare just in case.

I think Quis/Sasha could really help in this series on Turner, but game 7 or with a few minutes left in game six of the second round isn't the time to introduce them to playoff basketball.

For all the great defense Hollins has played this series, he was not good tonight. He often hedged way too far on the screens leaving his man wide open on the pick and roll. I see the Celtics changing this defense for game 7.

Ray Allen is a liability on defense but if he starts hitting a bunch of shots then we won't care much about that.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

When we lose because of our defense, ladies, please complain to me about Ray Allen.

We can't score, period. Good night.

Our defense was bad.  The game was only close because the sixers were bricking FTs.

Ray is hurt and looks horrible, pietrus is sucking, keyon continues to add nothing...

I say give sasha some burn.  Hollins over Steamer generally makes me cringe.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
If Ray Allen can do nothing more than be a turn style on defense and is bricking his shots, he needs to sit and come off the bench only when necessary. If he starts game 7 and looks like crap 5 minutes in, we don't need to keep wasting valuable time seeing if he gets going. We have other healthier options. Yeah, they aren't the most desirable if Ray is healthy, but he's not. So healthy mediocre players > Unhealthy, slow, bricking Ray.

I don't know how Steamer goes 5 for 5 in Game 5 and barely sees the floor in Game 6 while Hollins looks amazed he's in a playoff game. Hollins is a liability on offense. He may have a little value at the defensive end but I think Stiesma does too. Steamer > Hollins. Let the man play! He's earned it.

Very substandard games by KG, Pierce and especially Rondo. The numbers will say KG and Pierce didn't play too bad but they did not take charge in this game and put their stamp on it. 1 more game like that and the big 3 (four) era is over. The especially surprising one to me was Rondos effort. Only 6 assists??? If he don't hand out at least 15 dimes the next game I'll be shocked. He had his off game. He better bring it on Saturday. And KG and Pierce need to wake up too. As Paul said a few games ago "This is it".

The team itself played very undisciplined basketball all night. Careless passes and poor shot selection got us all night. There was no rhythm. It was not Celtics basketball and there truly wasn't any Celtic's pride.

I fully expect a much better effort in Game 7 and I expect us to win. But we're not looking good heading to the next round if we do. I really think losing Bradley is gonna cripple this team because with him we are dynamic and dangerous and when we move the ball we are hard to stop. Without him, we look slow and old and like the season just started. And I'm sorry, if Ray can't give us any more than he did last night, he needs to sit. He needs to look in the mirror and confess to himself that he's hurting the team more than helping. Its time to stop wishing with him and utilizing other options before it's too late. Then again, if the man just started swishing some threes I'd keep him in all game. But he can't play like he did last night and eat up all those unproductive minutes by himself.
