Odd to see Durant's 40% being the highest for his area when all the other 3-pt % are over 50.

The chart on Pierce is interesting because Pierce seems to be one of the few NBA players who is effective pretty much anywhere on the court.  I'm surprised Ray shows up here not once, but twice, because he sucks I've been told.

As for Rondo, he's still a pretty bad jump shooter, but if no one covers him (because he can go around anybody who does), then it's an equivalent of a foul shot distance field goal.  He should shoot more when he's open from that distance, but confidence is an issue I think.

Despite BOS's offensive problems, it's not for lack of good shooters.

BOS offense is "inefficient" due to turnovers and a lack of FTs and offensive rebounds.  Good thing they have efficient shooters.

I'm curious where the Celtics would be FG% wise against the league if there was a stat out there that measured a turnover as a missed shot. I'm sure someone has thought of this?

Offensive efficiency includes turnovers and the other things I listed, which is why they are 24th in efficiency despite being 10th in eFG% and 5th in FG%

What I like is the mirror images of rondo and nash.  While I have put nash down many a time as not someone I would trade rondo for   ::)  .  Those 2 guys are the best passers in the league, pick either one #1 wouldn't matter, rondo has nash like vision and passes off the dribble with either hand.  Its funny they both shoot so well from that same spot, just opposite sides of basket.  Another pg note is devon williams 23% wow
