It's hard to know where to start with this.

If he says that about any other team, does he get fined?

It'd be nice if Stern showed even an occasional appearance of impartiality.

It isn't blastphemy to speak the truth, Commish.

Meh, this isn't a Heat thing. If someone said that about the Pacers, he'd be fined too.

So we should expect the officials to look the opposite way and allow all the Heat flopping then, right? I give him props for saying something about it though, costly fine as a result though.

Yes.  You don't lobby the refs through the media.  Multiple coaches have been fined for this in the past, including our own.  Phil Jackson got a $35k fine just last season for doing the same thing against the Mavs.

That David Stern sure showed him not to talk about his officials...

i hate phil jackson, but vogel is just pulling a classic phil jackson move. call out the refs before the series starts so the refs make a conscious attempt to be "more impartial" which really just has the effect of making the refs call more things in your favor because they don't want to appear biased.

Alot of calls against pacers and non calls in GM 1, thinking Vogels message was taken wrong way by refs.

Indiana should ask Reggie Miller to say it on TV for them, as long as the team denies approaching Reggie for that favor. CWebb did it against the Clips, calling them floppers and the refs refused to call some of the flops against the Grizz.
