I went from dislocating my shoulder about 2 to 3 times per month, to only have one very minor separation in the last 4 years.

Was that when you were working your way through law school as a ninja?

Gary Washburn tweeted that he was told it was a "stinger" and not a separation.

Huh.  I've never heard of a stinger -- i.e., a pinched nerve -- needing to be popped back in.  That doesn't make any sense to me, but maybe one of the medical professionals on here can weigh in.

A dislocated stinger is a very well known injury in this post lockout season...

Those blocks he does like the one on Wade can't be good for that shoulder. Blocks when guys are still holding the ball and exerting force can be brutal on the shoulder.

Was Washburn talking about the pain level Bradley was in or the actual injury? Strange that everyone was talking popping in and out and Washburn comes in with a stinger as the injury.

Yeah the only thing I can think of is that the dislocation caused a stinger so that's why he couldn't come back in.

Or that he got a stinger and everyone assumed it was just another dislocation, probably even Bradley himself.

I was thinking the latter. It is possible people assumed it was a dislocation like past problems, but it could be fixed because it wasn't actually a dislocation. Only upon examination by the medical staff would this become clear.

Stingers like dislocations, cause numbess/loss of feeling in the join. So most likely he got a stinger, lost control of his shoulder and felt the tingles, and assumed it was dislocated.

The reason they couldn't pop it back in, was because it wasn't dislocated. It just felt like it was.

Didn't Pierce have the same thing several times a couple years ago?
