What's your take on the logic of having Flip on board?

My thought was to throw some different sets at Chicago in the second round (fingers crossed)?
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

Interesting. Had no idea Flip was on board.

He has a reputation as an offensive (near-) genius, but changing horses this late in the game may be easier said than done.

Still, with the time off between games, there may be some  opportunity for walk-throughs and learning new sets. Guys like Bass and Bradley might benefit from Flip's creativity.

Intereting.  Very interesting.  I don't want to pretend I know a lot about Flip, I don't.  I do know I don't blame him for that mess down in DC though.

No doubt about it, we are an organization that coaches like to come to, even if it just as an assistant.

When I was like 10 years old, I got to go to Kevin McHale's basketball camp at Ocean Edge on the Cape. Kevin had invited a series of NBA players and coaches. A young Ron Harper did a little dunk competition on his own, Jerry Sichting taught shooting, Kevin even made an appearance later in the week (my sister helped to babysit his kids, apparently he was a really, really nice guy even back then).

Anyway, what's stuck with me from that week is that Red Auerbach was there, and right next to him was Doc Rivers. My coach that week - Flip Saunders. So this makes sense.

That story deserved a thread of it's own!!! TP!

1 question....shorter attention span, your team of 10 year olds or the 11-12 Wizards?

I agree ....I think its more of Doc doing the teaching in this relationship.
