Is Drummond even going to be allowed to enter this draft since he will still be 18 in June?

Since he has done a year at UConn, he is the definition of one-and-done, if he enters. The Huskies have been ruled ineligible for the NCAA Tournament 2012-2013, due to poor academic performances in 2009-2010 and 2010-2011, but have submitted an appeal to the NCAA's Committee on Academic Performance, stating that the two academic years, that should be used are 2010-2011 and 2011-2012. If the Huskies lose the appeal, I guess that Drummond has no reason to stay.

He is no. 2 in Draftexpress.com's mock draft, and I really don't see him drop out of the top five. Maybe he has bust potential, but his upside is ridiculous.

Interesting video. He should change his name to "Joe Barry Drummond" to make it official.

Reminds me of DeMarcus Cousins. Talent is there but not sure about the work ethic

He doesn't remind me of Cousins at all. The issue with Cousins, if there is one at all, isn't about his work ethic, it's about his ability to control his emotions on the court.  Also, there is a question about his athleticism. But as for his effort level and work ethic, he plays hard, much harder than Drummond.  He was that way at Kentucky too.

I could look past Drummond's horrible free throw shooting and awkward, very raw offensive game if he just played harder.  He is really young though but I can't remember a player who had motor issues changing that later.

All that said, if he's there past 10 (he won't be, but let's pretend) you HAVE to take him. It's a bit like Gerald Green. Hate him at 5. Can't risk it at 10. But past 15 it's probably worth the gamble on the guy. Drummond is like a 7ft version of GG.

+1 , except I don't think Drummond is a 7 ft version of GG. He is a stiff though IMO.

I'd rather draft Willis Jackson than this Mr. Drummond

I was coming back to add to my post "there is only one proper response to this post" and there you had already given it. TP
