Eric Gordon and Roy Hibbert will be the best available and considering both are restricted it probably won't matter what the C's offer.

The organization will most likely be looking at lottery hell the next years until enough assets are built up. That's even if you draft/trade well enough. It's either that or another bridge year hoping for Howard/CP3 again.

All that cap space is nice but unless you can get some stars to properly utilize it what does it matter? Doc and Danny certainly have their work cut out for them. It's really sinking in.

cap space offers more than just being able to sign people. The c's can take on contracts and not have to match, meaning they could package their 2 1st round picks or something like that and get good talent back

There aren't a lot of elite talents but many good rotation level players. With the punitive tax coming maybe teams make a cost cutting move that we can take advantage of.

In the end I think the development of this team comes down to if Rondo can consistently play like one of the best pg in the league. Can jj, Bradley, Moore and our two firsts turn into a young core moving forward.

I would prefer Ryan Anderson to either and I suspect Orlando would let him walk if they can somehow trade Turkoglu and Nelson so that they can clear cap space.

Imo, we're probably going to see a lot of resigning of our own players. We'll probably resign guys like Green and Bass to movable longterm contracts. Resign Ray and Garnett to single year deals if they are willing to comeback, chase the better free-agents that fit. Help other teams facilitate deals to pick up small contracts and assets. There is plenty that we can do with our cash, but its going to take time for us to really get back on top.
