Watching the Cs get absolutely crushed by the Sixers has be leaning toward blowing this team up in the next 7 days, getting whatever we can in terms of young rookie-deal assets and expiring contracts for anyone on the Cs roster except for Rondo.
I'm confident that Danny will have some trades in his back pocket and if he doesn't feel he can add a big to this team to shore up the pathetic paint and rebounding play he will pull the trigger at the last minute as he did last year with the idiotic Perkins trade.
Has a gm ever blown up a team when they've been 2 games back in the division lead at this point in the season?
I've just never heard of a forfeit job like that
Well, this GM essentially announced he was going to blow up the team in the middle of a playoff series, so I don't think he is afraid of something like that.
As far as this particular situation, there haven't been many similar situations to compare it to.
But I wouldn't worry too much, because I doubt Danny is going to get the offers he needs to pull the trigger on blowing anything up.
