The rondo trade rumors reminds me of something danny said

Attitude can be fixed. Can be talked about. His game is there even with these attitudes. It'll be very interesting to see the Celtics without Rondo. I hate it, i don't want him traded unless on certain deals that involve Lowry and Curry (not straight up) but I'd really rather have him here.

It's ridiculous for me that they are trading him just because of attitude alone.

I thought last night's game was classic Rondo for where he's at right now.  He started the game off blowing by his guy at will - I think had 3 layups.  Didn't do it again till the middle of the 2nd half - even though he could have done it whenever he wanted to as the Bucks didn't have a shot blocker and none of their guards could stay with him.  

He played very well in the C's 3rd quarter run, then at the end nearly blew the game with a couple of lazy passes late and some HORRIBLE team defense.  It was obvious he had checked out with about 3:30 to go.  He's supposed to be your leader as a PG.  Instead he's the definition of a head case....

The whole team pretty much checked out after the 2 and half minute mark with the game at hand. This has been going on since the Big Three came together, nothing new. And Rondo only made one bad pass at the end of the game (just his third turnover of the night), so it's not like that was a huge deal.

I think people just need to lower their expectations of Rondo or something. I don't know any other player in the league that gets a triple double and the fanbase still complains about something he did during the game that was not up to par.

Is he the guy they want as the face of the franchise?  The guy who's always moody and sullen, who looks like he's ready to explode at any moment?

The guy who never seems like he's having fun?  The guy who always seems angry, almost like he hates playing basketball?

Rose pretty much fits that description, and Chicago has no problem having him as the face of the franchise...

It's not just that Rondo seems to be a prick to his coaches and teammates.

Is he the guy they want as the face of the franchise?  The guy who's always moody and sullen, who looks like he's ready to explode at any moment?

The guy who never seems like he's having fun?  The guy who always seems angry, almost like he hates playing basketball?

Is he the guy that you're putting on the billboards?  Is he the guy that you want speaking for the team?  Is he the guy who's going to help sell tickets?

Rondo needs to lighten the **** up.  Hell, dude, you're being run out of town, and it's entirely - one hundred percent - because of your attitude.  It's got nothing to do with the lack of a consistent jumper, it's all attitude.

Rondo's a warrior. Rondo has gotten better at shooting from outside(just check out the stats). Rondo is the best player on this team.

If he goes I want Chris Paul or Derrick Rose or Deron Williams replacing him. Bar that happening, I hope he's a Celtic for life.

Pretty much my feeling.  Although, i would add a high quality, young 4 or 5 to the mix of a return.

However, if he's that much of a headache off the court or to the coaching staff

NBA coaches are paid very well to deal with those headaches.  If this is just a choice between Rondo and Doc, you go with the guy who can play the game like an all star.

Not necessarily if the player in question is proving to be a detriment not just to the coach but the higher ups in the orgniazation who actually sign his paychecks.  

Not saying that is necessarily the case here but its not automatic that the coach gets shipped out of the town especially if the higher ups have shown continued faith in the coach over the years and agree with the idea that the damage is irreparable to the organization from said player.
