Alright here we go! Bascially we give portland rondo a pass first PG who wants to run and latley thats what portland wants to do also give them a young backup 2 who is a great defender in avery and JO in which is an expiring. Boston get Felton and expiring contract and a worthy PG, also having problems there in Portland and looks to be getting benched. Batum a man in which wants more minutes and to be paid. Camby also an expiring contract who fills in at center and can actually REBOUND! Bostons new roster looks like this.

Felton/Dooling/Moore
Allen/Pietrus/Moore
Pierce/Batum/Pietrus
KG/Bass/Johnson
Camby/KG/

Gives us cap flex for this off-season to go after Deron and Dwight and Batum a young 23 year old athletic and can shoot the 3. Probably a little lopsided but we of course can throw in picks and cash to make portland a little happier

Wow, very interesting trade idea.

For the celtics... I think I'd do it.

I've seen the Blazers play a bit, but I don't know how their management and fans care about those players.  I know they hold Batum very highly and have even publicly called him "untouchable" at some points.  Camby seems to fit well with what they do.  What would their new starting lineup be?

Rondo
Matthews
Wallace
Aldridge
JO
?

That could possibly be considered an upgrade.  Bradley could be a nice backup to throw at Westbrook and CP occasionally.  I think they like how Batum and Camby fit as role players, but my personal opinion is that they could use another impact player in the playoffs like Rondo

Danny could just sign Batum in the off-season and keep Rondo

The thought of Rajon Rondo with a center like LaMarcus Aldridge ... mouthwatering!

This actually doesn't seem too bad. TP for the idea.

Hmm..if we could stay healthy, I could see that taking us places this year.

I agree.  The only one giving up a huge asset is us in Rondo. WHich means we get less than fair value.  Plus Batum is in the Blazers long term plans so they won't be giving him up...

I like the Blazers and I have to say Portland will never give Batum away without one of our picks+ a future 2nd pick.

hmmm so, add Quis+Dooling and they give Nolan Smith and Im sure thats a complete deal
Jameer an elite PG?Please, ask that to his garbage highlights.

PAUL PIERCE, NO!

I don't think we give up Rondo for expirings. Why give up our biggest asset and best player for a chance at retaining nothing.
