  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.

I thought so as well. But I like the idea. Switch Bass with Chris Wilcox because I like what Brandon is giving to us more. Maybe add a 2nd rounder (from the Nets or something to make it) to make it sweet.

Problem is NO won't do this. There won't be anybody buying this team if there's not at least a star and a top tier talent.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

Kaman is a free agent at the end of the year.  The Hornets won't be re-signing him and building around him.  Bass is one to try and keep and build around though.  Dooling might be a keeper as a back up PG/SG.

I dont think Kaman is in NO's future and he is not going to fetch a star or top tier talent in the trade market.

The Cs want to preserve cap space and acquire picks in any deal this year.  Kaman's deal expires but what good is that to the Cs when they already have expiring deals?  They obviously are not winning a championship this year and DA is all about the future at this point.

I think it is much more likely to move Bass and/or Ray to a contender for late #1 picks plus jetsam and flotsam on short deals.
