Hornets get: IND 1st Round Pick, J Oneal
Pacers get: Rondo and Ray Allen
The Celtics only have two valuable trade commodities in Pierce and Rondo. Although I think a contender would overpay for Pierce... The fans would tear Ainge a new one for trading away the captain. As much as I would hate to see Rondo go. The Celts could definitely contend for a ship with the trade and I believe the roster would be better for the future as well. New Orleans would love a 1st round Pick for Kaman and would buy out Jermaine. The Pacers would do this trade in a heartbeat. They get better right now and for the future. If they sign Hibbert and overpay for Gordon/Mayo in the off-season the Pacers would be an extremely difficult team to beat.
