The young bigs on our roster developed under Clifford Ray.  If he was still with the C's, I'd say maybe.  But Ray isn't.

i agree 100% we either need ray back or need to hunt out a new big man coach. What he did with our young bigs was great.

I think he was referring to his previous post, in which he chanted the chorus of the famous Go-Gos song.

Well then he should have written, " The Previous" and not " The Above". Get your act together SO or it's gonna be a long Pick 2.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
He's worth a shot. He's still a 7'3'' 260 athletic dude that, with the right coaching and motivation can be a defensive beast.

I believe that he will never develop as an offensive, back to basket center, but he can be a very good rebounder, a great shot blocker and an very good interior defender. He just needs somebody who can motivate him that this is his role, he can be great at it. Only problem is i've read articles saying he's lazy, but hey, you'd never know. With the proper pep talk it might put his head into the right direction.

Why not, as long as it's not more than 3 mil.

Pass on this, what has Thabeet exactly done to grab anyone let alone a 1st rounder? Bradley and Moore have been solid thus far and Wilcox has contributed more in a Celtics uniform than Thabeet probably will anywhere in the near future.

I would rather give Oden the roster spot. He has shown he can actually be productive when healthy.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I would LOVE Oden, if possible. If not, no reason not take a waiver on Thabeet.

Oden?

Thabeet?

The other day it was Kaman.

I am worried about our big man depth for next year and I would add any of these three...as long as it was was for the right price. None of them are worth breaking he bank.

I doubt we find a starter or a guy to give significant minutes of production as a big in the draft, maybe Leonard but that is a stretch IMHO.

The Steamer will still have to be beaten for a starting job lol.

Either way, that's the only bright side of having Thabeet on the roster.
