I'm going to wait until I see the names who are going to the draft.
This is just me, but I kind of follow college basketball a little and no doubt the lottery of this draft will have starters to star quality. And there are a few gems as well in the mid rounds that could start given the time.
I'm assuming these guys are declaring, these could be the top 13. No particular order.
Andre Drummond
Harrison Barnes
Perry Jones III
Kidd-Gilchrist
Terrence Jones
Jared Sullinger
Anthony Davis
Thomas Robinson (this dude I really want for us)
Austin Rivers
Mason Plumlee (this dude as well)
John Henson (this dude too, but not as much)
Jeremy Lamb
Bradley Beal
these guys are in most mock drafts. Now, the Celtics assuming they'll be in the 14-22 range (for one of the two), there could be some gems we can get that could contribute for us.
C Meyers Leonard - Illinois
C/F Patric Young - Florida
C Tyler Zeller - UNC
G Doron Lamb - Kentucky
F Terrence Ross - Washington
F Quincy Miller - Baylor
F/G LeBryan Nash - Oklahoma St.(doubt he leaves this year though)
G John Jenkins - Vanderbilt
F Arnett Moultrie - Mississippi State
C Festus Ezeli - Vanderbilt
and there is this guy G/F Evan Fournier who is a scorer playing in Europe right now.
Those young guys can be contributors to any teams right away. Some of them could start in two to three years.
And this is just an assumption that most freshmen will leave. If they don't there are a few more names that can be picked who could be solid contributors as well.
I for one want this guy and this guy as our two first round picks. And they're realistically in the mid round to late round range.
