First off let me tell you i dont think anything about these players they arent great players, to me they are realistic targets who can play center, much better then Oneal right now

trade jermaine and any rookies, JO,Moore,Bradley,stiestma and maybe a pick for Emeka or Verajoe

they will automatically be our best rebounders and provide some blocking and defense and not just be weak and dead like J.O

and the money wont matter, if it doesnt work out, you can amnesty either of these players in the offseason and not hurt our capspace

the celtics biggest problem is in the middle and REBOUNDING

you fix that this team can compete

i don't see the Cavs trading Varejao as long as they are in the playoff hunt, and Emeka's contract is too big / long to make it worth it.

Also, you cannot trade for a player and then release him under the amnesty provision.

Amnesty can only be used on your own players that were signed before the new CBA went into effect this season.
