Okay so far this season has been painful. From Green being out(believe it or not Green hatters he was going to help this year), to missing out on West(may have made the better choice in teams) to a rough start.
Now it does look like Peirce and KG are more out of shape than old. Old is making the getting back into shape a little harder, but I still think its more of a shape thing. You can tell When KG has a chance to get ready to jump he gets up good, but when he has to land and go right back up with it, no legs. Thats more of an in shape thing, happens to 25 year olds, or a week but it does happen.
What does look good is most of the time(not all) the D looks good. They have been keeping teams 90 points or lower. Bulls only scored 85 I believe. They get a big man that boards and keeps the other team from second chance shots, it would be even better.
The other thing that looks good is yes they can't hit a shot when they are right under the basket, but they are getting really good shots. the Offense is creating good open shots for the guys, they just aren't hitting them for some reason.
So if they can get a good Center (please NO buy out Kaman) and start hitting the open shots this team will be in the think of it.
BUT....if they don't get a Center that will board, and PP and KG don't get their legs back or an injury takes out on of the Big 4 out for the season. They are under .500 at trade deadline time. Its time to start collecting Picks and trading them for some players, keep some for them selves and look for the 2013 season were there are some really good FA's to be snagged up.
So its not over yet. But its not far from it.
