Before I go in a GET LUKE spasm and fall in love with the guy (just saw the Minny - Bulls game) can anyone tell me something about him as a player? How would he fit on this Celtics' team? All I know is that he came from Seattle and that he's turning 31 this year.

Ridnour would be a very good backup PG. A good upgrade over K.Dooling.

Too much money left on his contract though. Not worth hurting 2012's cap flexibility.

Dooling > Ridnour

For this Celtics team. Talent and cap wise.

Well he most recently came from the Bucks, not Seattle.  He played with Ray as a Sonic.  Solid backup PG, but nothing special.  I guess MIN feels he's good enough to start ahead of Rubio and Barea.

Why would we want to add Dan Dickau v2? We already had the original, and we all know how it worked out -- unless of course you need someone from the bench who can make free throws  ;D
