Is there a new rule for playing more than 12 guys, or did we just mess up last night? Perhaps Bradley didn't get the memo that he would be street clothes with Pierce back.

Because of the shortened off-season / pre-season, the league is letting teams keep 13 guys on their active roster at the beginning of the season.  I can't remember the exact date, but that drops down to the traditional 12 later in the season (I think in February).

Okay, thanks. That's the first I heard of this.

It's next to the other new rule that if Oden is active you can have 6 guys on the floor for one play.
