What a mental midget this guy is. He wanted no part of the ball late in the game.

Celtics were playing to take away the lane from LeBron and Wade late in the game and force the Heat's supporting players to make jumpshots.  Turns out the Heat has a good supporting group of shooters.

I can't blame LeBron for letting open guys take and make good shots.

do you think though the heat can rely on a rookie to bail them out at the end of games all the time though? it remains to be seen if the kid had a good game or is the real deal, but its like us letting Moore take the shots at the end of the game.

hey, if other teams leave guys like James Jones, Mario Chalmers, Norris Cole, Shane Battier, Mike Miller etc. wide open, they're most likely going to make those shots.  the Heat do not lack for good shooters on their bench.

Yeah, Pos is right here.  These guys aren't nobodies.  They are NBA basketball players who are incredibly capable of hitting wide open jumpers.  I don't care if it's the end of games, playoffs, whenever... these players are still capable of hitting wide open jumpers.  If a defense forces Miami into this, then Miami should much prefer this over a contested Lebron/Wade fadeaway 18 footer.

Bail out? The Heat took their boot from off the neck of our team. They weren't even playing serious at the end of the game. Lebron deferred because he knew they were going to win. I'm the biggest Lebron basher/hater/detractor I know. But to say he isn't a finisher because of the end of this game is foolish.

This is the second game of the season and he is already deferring. If the C's have to worry about Cole I like their chances. If your the best player you need to close the deal. Just ask Dirk.
Cole will not be closing in the playoffs. The Heat know they have games to throwaway and even if they lost this one, it's not like it will matter. They are gonna run over most of the teams this season.

You would think they would see what LeBron could do late instead of a rookie. After all LeBron will be the one they are counting on the most once the real season starts.

It's only the 2nd game so we'll see.

I would think that they would want to develop their new guys early on.

Even the most confident types like Jordan kicked out to Paxson or Kerr at times.

I do feel like Lebron doesn't have the same strong will that Kobe or Wade have, but a his reputation will be much different once he dominates a finals, which he will likely do at least once before his career is done. This happens all the time in sports.
