I get so annoyed with how Doc and Danny relay the timeline for injuries.... 3 years ago it was KG, it was game by game for 2 weeks, then it was for the regular season, then it was for the 1st round of playoffs, then it was for the rest of the season.... Shaq last year, we waited for him game by game for 3 months, then he was out for the season.... now Pierce with his heel, I dont know if he is going to play miami tuesday or be out for 3 months (same for Pietris)

I am sure this is a regular topic but it is so frustrating, AAAGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, if we keep this topic in the latest forum topics list, I'm pretty sure this infirmary will become several pages long.

Its impossible to crystal-ball and fortune tell a recovery. Some people recover faster than others. Game-by-game is honest.... they literally dont know when he will be healthy and cant just guess accurately.

Also, Basketball is a game. There is game theory logic behind everything. Letting competitors know which players you will have available gives them time to plan against that....If tomorrow, the heat expect paul pierce to stay out, and all of the sudden paul pierce is on the court, thats a small advantage in terms of planning.... Every little thing counts

Im just guessing though, but I think this plays a part.
