this is the real takeaway tonight for me, rondo seemed to have no hesitation in taking the jumper or driving to the hoop to draw fouls, and he knocked them down

besides driving to the hoop rondo had a real nice game shooting the ball. It remains to be seen if he can continue at this pace, but if he can continute to play like this once we get Pierce back and Pietrus I think we are going to be tough to beat

if Rondo continues to play like he did tonight this season he will be a top 3 MVP candidate this year no doubt in my mind

He's got to maintain his accuracy, hopefully he can.

Yeah, when hes got that open shot, he most certainly can drain it. Now its important for him to not be timid in the last 4 minutes as well.

Lets be honest, Rondo started off last season making the same jumpers and looking just as comfortable. The fact that he still is hesitant/unwilling to take it in the 4th quarter says a lot more about how confident he is in the shot than 1 good game against a team that doesn't play any defense.
Never stop believing baby~

no, rondo didnt drive to the hoop drawing fouls like that last season or look for his shot...he definitely has looked different these past 2 games.

If rondo can continue knock down those free throws, and make those jumpers like that hes an extremely scary player

I think Rondo was playing with a chip on his shoulder and the main reason we stayed in the game for a long time.  I hope he can keep it up too.
