I'm not sure waiting for Pryzbilla to decide if he's coming back until after Christmas is worth it especially with no guarantee he'll sign in Boston.  Fesenko and Alexis Ajinca are still available they'll do as backups to protect the rim, why not sign them?

Serviceable backup bigs: Brandon Bass and Chris Wilcox. Oh wait...

I am not sure those two are any better than the D-league kid (who I actually think looked decent in the open practice).

My choice would be Pryzbilla and then Fesenko.

You don't wait for Pryzbilla, but there's nothing wrong with filling a roster spot with someone like Stiemsma on an unguaranteed contract so that you have the flexibility to clear roster space if somebody like Pryzbilla becomes available later.

If you're looking for a safe option that makes you feel comfortable, this is the wrong season for you to be a fan.  Embrace risk.

Surprised Dampier hasn't caught on anywhere yet.  He'd be a nice 3rd string center for us.

I'm guessing the Cs are happy with what they are getting from the White Gorilla or whatever his name is. There doesn't seem to be any urgency to fill the last remaining spots. Part of it could be waiting to see what is going on with Pierce's foot. If its something bad, then they might go after SF help, o/w go after more big man help.
