I know this is unlikely, but if we trade JO to NO and NO cuts him, he can't re-sign with the Celts. But what happens if NO trades him and that team cuts him, either right away or in the spring? Could we sign him back then?

My guess, in that case he won't be able to sign back with us or NOH...not until July 1st. Not sure though.

Isnt there something that if he was traded to the Hornets, they couldnt trade him to another team for a certain number of days? I could be wrong.

He can be traded again immediately, so long as he isn't included with other players.

I have no idea about the double-trade and waiver, though.  It depends on how the new rule is written, and I don't think it's been published yet.
