I could see the Knicks using amnesty on Billups if it helped to get Chris Paul but why would they do it otherwise?  Billups, Carmelo, and Amare is a formitable core team.  Why would they break that up?

Would love Mr. BigShot here. He is very good buddies with PP and KG.

The problem, as Yogi allude to, is that he has to clear waivers and be offered to the below cap teams first, I believe.
